Sacred Heart is a 150-year-old Roman Catholic parish located at 395 Chestnut Street in Springfield, Massachusetts.  We welcome all.  We hope you will favor our parish with your prayers and your presence.

Baptisms

Baptism are typically held on the last Sunday of the month after the 10:30 am Mass in the church.  If you would like to schedule a baptism, we ask that you formally join the parish prior to scheduling.  To join the parish and/or to schedule a baptism, please call the rectory at (413) 732-3721.

If you would like to schedule a wedding, please see a priest after a Mass in the church.  We are unable to schedule weddings over the phone.

Faith Formation

Our annual faith formation program begins in September and runs through April.  Our adult education program runs from January through March.  As part of our adult education program, we have an annual pre-Cana class once per year.  It is held on the first Sunday of March following the 10:30 am Mass.
