Dear Parents, Grandparents, and Guardians:

At your child's Baptism, you began the journey with your child to come to know and experience the love of Jesus Christ in his/her life.  It is our privilege here at Sacred Heart Parish to assist you in this awesome task.

Our Faith Formation classes are held on Sunday mornings.  Grades 1 through 8 meet from 9:30am to 10:20am and Grade 9 (Confirmation) meets after the 10:30am Mass from 11:15am to 12-Noon.  We use Pflaum Publications materials in Grades Pre-K to 9, along with the Safe Environment Program, Circle of Grace, mandated by the Diocese of Springfield.  Since our program is maintained by volunteers who serve as catechists, substitute catechists, classroom aids, door monitors, etc., I am asking you to consider helping in one of these areas.  We do need your help!

This year’s program will begin on Catechetical Sunday, September 20, 2026.  All families are invited to attend the 9am Mass, during which Monsignor will bless the students, parents, and catechists. Immediately following the Mass, a brief meeting will be held in the Monsignor Farland Center to discuss the schedule and protocols for the upcoming year.

Please complete a registration form.  It needs to be completed and returned no later than Sunday, August 31. The completed form may be placed in the offertory basket at a weekend Mass or mailed to the parish office.

Unlike most parishes, Sacred Heart does not charge to participate in our Faith Formation Program.  The funds raised from the Calendar Raffle Drive help to subsidize these activities.   Your support by becoming a Sponsor and/or purchasing a calendar is greatly appreciated.
